This ASM International CD-ROM includes over 4,700 binary metal phase diagrams from the classic three-volume ASM collection of Binary Phase Diagrams edited by Massalski. Tables of invariant equilibria, crystal structures, critical commentary, and primary references are included for each diagram.
Diagrams are vector images, allowing magnification of areas of interest and publication quality printing. Users can search for individual phases by chemistry, Pearson symbol, space group, Strukturbericht, prototype, and/or temperature range.
Diagrams can be converted between atomic % and weight %. Multiple diagrams can be displayed in one window for purposes of comparison. Melting and transition temperatures of constituent elements are consistent throughout the collection.
