The NIST Structural Ceramics database contains thermal, mechanical, and corrosion properties of oxides, borides, carbides, nitrides, and oxynitrides in a self-contained database system. Searches of the data are conducted by means of a combination of menus, query-by-example technique, and computer-assisted entries. Users may search for properties of a selected ceramic or use specified property values to identify required ceramics. The database contains critically evaluated property data for both research and commercial grades of materials. The data sources (through 1996) are fully documented. Information in the Structural Ceramics database includes: Materials Specification
Mechanical Properties
Thermal Properties
Corrosion Properties
