TAPP is a database of thermochemical and physical properties of pure chemical compounds. TAPP contains properties for over 11,000 solid compounds and over 6,000 fluids and includes data for both organic and inorganic compounds.
If you've ever needed to know the vapor pressure, thermal conductivity, or free energy of formation of a compound but faced a one hour trip to the library to dig out information, then TAPP was made for you. Your job description probably doesn't include "looking up materials properties data", but you need this data to solve the problems at hand. TAPP lets you spend more time on your "real job" and less time looking up data. With TAPP, you can retrieve materials properties data in less time than it would take you to borrow a co-worker's handbook, let alone make a trip to the library.
You can enter maximum and minimum values for one or more properties and TAPP will generate a list of compounds that meet these requirements. If you enter a new temperature, TAPP recalculates the properties of a compound as if you were in a spreadsheet program. Then you can export all this data to your spreadsheet, word processor, or graphing program.
TAPP also includes IceNine Phase Diagrams, a collection of 1,700 binary phase diagrams.
TAPP is available for Mac OS and Windows. TAPP is published by ESM Software.
